Strawberry Torte
"Actor David Boreanaz's mother always makes him this delicious strawberry torte on his birthday".

Unsalted butter, for pan
- 8 extra-large eggs, room temperature, separated
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cake flour (not self-rising)
- 2 teaspoons sifted baking powder
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar, plus more for work towel
- 1 quart strawberries, washed, dried, and hulls removed
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and line a rimmed 15-by-10-by-1-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar together until light in color, about 1 minute; stir in 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Add cake flour and baking powder; stir until well combined.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into flour mixture.
- Pour cake batter in prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Transfer baking sheet to oven and bake until cake springs back when touched, about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, set 6 strawberries aside for garnish. Thinly slice remaining strawberries. Place heavy cream in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment; beat on medium speed. Slowly add remaining teaspoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar. Continue beating until soft peaks form. Set half of the whipped cream aside. Gently fold sliced strawberries into remaining half; set aside.
- Lay a clean kitchen towel flat on a work surface with one of the short ends facing you. Generously sprinkle dish towel with confectioners' sugar. Flip cake onto towel, remove baking sheet, and peel off parchment paper. Using the dish towel, roll cake away from you; let cool.
- Unroll cake. Evenly spread strawberry whipped-cream mixture over surface of the cake and re-roll. Transfer cake to a serving plate and evenly spread top and sides of cake with reserved whipped cream. Cut reserved whole strawberries in half lengthwise and place on top of cake for garnish.

Ever wondered why it take only silver to kill a werewolf, this had me puzzled for many many years, well actually about 14 years, why is it always silver bullets or anything silver lets take the example of Red Riding Hood, a film about a werewolf, comes out today. Werewolves live as humans, only turning into wolves on the night of the full moon. They're strong, vicious, and they can only be killed by silver. But why silver?
So, we're not into the supernatural here. As the great Pythons have showed us, there have to be rational explanations for all phenomena. Both a witch and a duck float in water, so they both must weigh the same amount. And since a werewolf dies when scratched with silver, there has to be something running through the wolf that causes it to expire from just a wee sparkle. below is a small scene of a witch scene........
so getting back Silver has a few good qualities. It conducts heat better than any other metal. It's incredibly ductile and malleable, which is one of the reasons why it's used for jewelry in the first place. Werewolves are equally malleable — they change shape easily. Otherwise known as brimstone — that's right — the devil's element. Put together silver and sulfur and you get silver sulfide. Now, silver sulfide is not shown to be toxic to any other animals, but it's not soluble in water, and so can only be ingested.

Well today something happened, it may not be the biggest thing in the world but, it happened and i was shocked that this happened now, when i wasn’t even aware of it, it happened so fast i couldn’t even stop it but it happened, well here is how the story goes,
I got into a taxi after a long frustrating day at college, you could say after one of my shit filled days, but anyways i got into a taxi with another friend who was a girl in fact, little fact the is majority of girls in my class when compared with guys, so i got into the taxi, and we headed home, i told the cab driver about my location, but he didn’t go on the correct route, so i ended up dropping my friend first, and i was supposed to catch a bus after i had got down, but it was across the road on the other side where i was, so i didn’t see the cops, and it’s also illegal to cross the road, without crossing from the zebra crossing, so i did cross the road many time before illegally but why??? Today why at this moment, why is a place where i was completely clueless of knowing, so they stopped me i didn’t even recognize them, they usually are in one of their police cruisers, but this time they were in a normal everyday vehicle, it was a van, i won’t even suspect that there will be cops in a van, and that in fact quite an old one indeed, nowadays these cops are becoming so underhanded, it’s scary they will go to such lengths to humiliate themselves, just to catch a few people either crossing the road illegally, or other things i really don’t want to go into details, so i have never experienced this before, if they were in cop cars then i would have thought twice before crossing,
So frankly it’s their fault i didn’t recognize them and secondly i wanted to board the bus and go home as quickly as i could, but no they had to stop me and ask me for my ID at this moment i was scared and stuff that they would give a ticket and i had to pay on the spot, that’s usually what i heard from some of my friends that had close encounters of the police kind, you may know what movie i am referring to but i just changed the words, anyways getting back so i gave my ID and they asked me my name and stuff and where i study or work, i told them i don’t have a job as yet، that i was studying at EAC, so after than they told me that I shouldn’t do it again, and I said sorry again and was on my way, but this time I was seriously sacred and terrified, and now I have my name in one of their records somewhere, so next time, will be a different story anyways stay tuned for more, comment if the same thing or something similar happened to you, and bye for now.

well let’s see, if u read my earlier post on things that people would like to become, i spoke about the occupations that people wanted to become and how they can achieve that, which is through hard work and determination and the interest that is needed if you truly love that occupation, well i didn't actually say all of that, but you know where i a going with this, so anyways now let’s focus on myself, i would like a job in the tourism field, it has really interested me a lot, cause of the countless number of jobs that you can undertake after completing your masters or something......... So let’s see i took up a course in travel and tourism, at Emirates aviation college, it was by luck and pure chance that i got into that college, but i don’t call it luck i call it "Dumb Luck", nah i am just fooling it was by the grace of the lord that i got this chance to pursue my dream at this college, so now after all the long years, tireless working hours and the consumption of coffee, i will have finished my course ad gone forward, to become a "Travel Manager", this has been my dream, to serve and to al travel the world, and also to get far away from home........ It will involve a lot of hard work and determination, which i don’t lack in but i do lack in hard work, but i am willing to change for the better good...... If you set your mind to whatever you do, no one can tell you otherwise, you can accomplish you set task and do your best at it, all you have to do is to set your mind to it ............ its up to you to choose what you like, you are free to choose your own paths, i choose mine, and now i am willing to do my best and enjoy my life, afterwards

so, its official the world didn't end, if your reading this post then it, in fact was just a hoax, and the so called prediction didn't come true, it could have been all a lie, ya actually it was a lie, but this maybe a sign to see how people would react if the world was really going to end, today or yesterday.
so to put this in brief, the WORLD DIDN'T END AND ITS A HOAX, so now we can get along with our lives, get back to our old boring routine, but there is one thing i can tell you from the bottom of my heart, the day that this was announced was the best thing, it maybe stupid to say, but thats how i feel, and i feel like that everything that needed to happen could have happened for that reason, the reason being the world ending, you may not get what i am saying write now, but you will soon, long story short, everything that needed to happen will happen during that faithful day.
so stay tuned and dont worry about the end, there is still time, there maybe signs all around us but, there is a date later on........ it will happen later..... and this is what i believe.
how far do we know that is true, with those many encounters, like the earthquakes, etc.. we are sure to believe that these things will point out that the world will end at this time but why now? why so soon, i do believe that it will end next year, 2012 but how do we know that is also true. Well, this question has been passed around a few time, than one and question has many people thinking, what do i want to be, well if your like me, you will still be thinking, but no two people are the same, making their dreams, and realities different from one another , so lets see well i got asked this question most times, than often, and my answer was" I DONT ACTUALLY KNOW", i want to be so many things, when i grow up but, choosing the right path can be the right thing to do, or can effect you dramatically, so that was my answer at that time, i sound like an old Grandpa, many kids and young adults have this answer in their head, they may want to be an artist like my self, a Model, an Astronaut, A Fancy race car driver, isnt that all what kids dream about, the wind in their hair, the thrill of going miles and miles, for hours and hours, there are other professions, unlock your mind, search its files find what you like and put that as your main priority for the day........

The former World Heavyweight Champion got dirty right away, ambushing The Champ from behind. The All-American American would eventually pay for the ambush, though, when Cena snapped on an STF.
Despite Cena winning the bout, Miz was still swift to talk trash. He and hislackey, Alex Riley, attacked Cena, but The Champ pushed through the pain and chased the two from the ring, vowing that he will never utter the words “I quit.”

There are many things, many situations in life that affect us in different ways, they can be small they can be big, they can be medium, they can be imaginary, they can be real, what ever the case may be, there is all ways something or another that affects us in different ways, we show it through expressions, actions, reactions, kinda the same but, also other ways, it hard to pin point how these different things effect us, cause it changes gradually, it may last a few mins, hours, days maybe, but there will be something or another to change us later, whether it may be good or bad, but we all love good things happing to us, no one likes going through bad situations that affect themselves in a negative way, we all love to live life happily, and we can, we can change our selves to better ourselves in the future, only thtough change can we succeed in life, it maybe a hard and difficult road for some of us but with out the courage, and the willingness to strive forward, we cant hope to achieve anything, the little things like a........... (i will let you fill in that), situations are dependent on the person, i cant tell what situations, or the little things that affect us i may be wring myself, but we alone know ourselves, and should do the necessary to change it for the better......
there have been many situations in my life where, everything seemed to go from bad to worse, you may have seen me mention it in some of my posts, but i have learnt that without suffering, can we hope to win, without sacrifice, we cant hope to reach the highest point, without hard work, we can not reach that top most step on the ladder of success, there maybe people all around us to bring us down, De-motivate us, stop us from reaching our goals, they may deprive us of certain luxuries, but again without sacrifice, what can we hope to achieve, sure we can achieve those minor things in life, but we must look for the bigger goals ahead of us, we must take flight to reach that destinations in the skies, the highest point, i am not saying dying is the option here, its through hard work and determination can we hope to succeed in life, every step of a persons journey may not be pickles and rainbows, it will be hard, for some it may be easy, but a journey is still a journey,
We are not meant to stay in one place, we need to e freed, standing around in one place will not get you anywhere, your future is in your hands, friends, family will be there to help you but they can do very little, the rest is up to you, you alone must, make sure that you spread your wings and fly off in doing so, set your self free, do the things you find most dear to your heart, learn new things, dont stand in one place, i made that mistake, and i am still working forward to earn my wings ..............

Some of you may know about this, But i am sure that everyone knows about this game, this is and will be the best game i ever played, for those that dont know about it, its game from Pop Cap some famous company ins the states i am assuming, where the general idea of the game is to use plants to kill zombies, crazy right ??? yes it is but really effective, this is just a music video of the game where a sunflower with a really sexy voice sings in font of thousands of cold, dead zombies that dont fell pain but sure as hell look cool, so its all about stratigraphic game play and stuff like that, i am sure that you guys will enjoy it for sure, one of the most played games, i know off......... enjoy and peace out

Tennis has gone virtual, i know you guys might have heard about this game before in the past, lets say a few years back, frankly i had an older version of this game, and loved it i made me really, happy to get back into the feeling of playing tennis again, but this time virtually, lets see i am talking about something that is old, as i said old is gold......... they have improved the game a lot but i dint see a difference, i think its the sound made they are more louder, just kidding i really dont know but i can sense that there is a change somewhere, so i leave you with this "Change is Good"

So as good as things sound there is always somethin or another to disrupt the positive balance of things including days, weeks, lives, family related issues, so what i am trying to say here is that there is a bad side to everything good, not all the time, but on certain special times, i cant think of examples right now at this moment but as soon as i post this i might get an idea but i would be to lazy to edit it... but you may have experienced it before, or right now as we both read.....so lets see today was a bad day as usual, everything stared off bad and got worse, i think it was cause of Friday the 13th coming into play, if you read my earlier post you would have seen that it effects, and causes back luck for the week ahead, but i dont think its all to blame, because it can also be through a persons actions and reactions making it either good or bad.........actions speak louder than words is what can be brought up here, making it settle in as something good and at the same time something bad,
So anyways to continue about my day, went off to a bad start, i lost my assignment cover sheet, where its used to grade my self on the tasks i do for that assignment, also that i was sick since saturday, well not yesterday last week in fact....... it cant all be bad luck, there is no such thing, just the way people react to situations either in a way that effects them, badly or comforts them,I feel that everything happens for a reason cause if that wasnt the case then the world will not be the same, different situations will either be harmfull, and some can be enjoyable, but with a catch...... So thats what i said before.....

To my fellow readers that originate and stay in the UAE, have you noticed that when ever you need a mode of transportation like a cab or something to help you get from place to place, you never seem to find anything, or anyone around, but when you are on your way to work or place of leisure, with a friend or family relatives, you seem to see all the cabs in the world, driving right past, you picking up their fares, and heading out, dropping people and stuff like that, tell me i know you guys have seen this happen and have experienced it before, i know i have and its really frustrating,and also when your at a location and desperately needs a cab, you never seem to find one at the very moment, i know there has been a problem of taxis being in short supply but i am not sure if its, still going one but i do feel like its still going on................... so i hate it and when you do finally get a cab, 2 or 3 role up from behind you to pick up other people, and this is from personal experience, i was just looking, with disbelief on my face........ ya it was disbelief................
